"Strong Tower" is based on Psalm 61:3 and is meant to remind us that God is a shelter who calls the believer to take refuge in Him. The psalmist appeals to God in this passage because he has never failed him as a refuge. Let this image be a reminder to call on Him regardless of the type of enemy you face. This image is based off of a photograph I took of Wilder Tower in Northwest Georgia. I was able to get the picture just as the sun was setting and the imagery that came to mind was that as night was approaching, God's shelter was there waiting as a refuge. Copyright 2013, DSG Images
About Shane Garrett
Throughout my life, I have always had an interest in drawing, photography, and writing. Through DSG Images, I hope to create unique paintings and photography that will be based on biblical themes designed to encourage the viewer. When composing an image, I typically have a particular inspirational verse in mind and then I work to compose a photo or painting that will best provide a visual representation of that verse.
