Artist's Description
"The Door" is based on a photograph was taken at dusk and the lighting was just bright enough to capture the image, but dark enough to show the warm glow of the lantern above the door. To add texture and depth, I painted over the image to give it a more surreal atmosphere. The first verse that came to mind when I began to compose this image was Revelation 3:20 and the promise Christ extends to those who hear him knock at the door of their heart. It is my hope that those who view this image are reminded of when they first heard the knock...and answered. Copyright DSG Images

Throughout my life, I have always had an interest in drawing, photography, and writing. Through DSG Images, I hope to create unique paintings and photography that will be based on biblical themes designed to encourage the viewer.
